The rhetorical analysis is an assignment that allows you to expand and develop your understanding of rhetorical situations. In order to do so you must choose an artifact that can be analyzed efficiently. You can use anything ranging from commercials, music videos, ads, etc. Your paper should focus more on the rhetorical appeals (ethos, pathos, and logos). In addition, you must analyze and examine the following characteristics of your artifact, within rhetorical appeals:

-Genre  (Logos)

-Reader or Audience (Pathos)

-Author (Ethos)

-Constraints

-Exigence

After identifying these elements you must determine if the author of your specific artifact is effective in his transmitting his message to the audience. This paper should range from 4-6 pages and must be completed in APA format. Be sure to provide enough textual evidence to support each of the statements you present in the analysis.
